So I finally got back home today… to no internet, but the mugs I ordered via sal had gotten here yesterday so that made up for it a little. So cuteeeeee. I got the other one too because I have to buy cups in pairs… not that I have anyone to drink with, it’s just nicer to display. The flight was OK besides the fact I can’t sleep on planes, so I didn’t. I finished michiko to hatchin finally, which was amazing. Like, severely underrated, but excellent in its oddity, and very very artistic. I also watched all of canaan, because …of… reasons… (miyuki sawashiro, I think?) It had good action, mostly. The things I do for love… Oh fuck the new got was fucking out of this world. Oh yeah so hello jetlag.

Luckily I can sustain my phone by plugging it into the USB port of the plane seats but my laptop is gonna be a lost cause soon… so I’m moving a shitton of stuff onto my phone hooray for tiny subtitles.

Anyway it’ll be nice to be back home tomorrow. Leave at 10AM, arrive at 11AM, same day, what is this wizardry (timezones). I miss japan, I’m okay with leaving korea tho. Fuck, korean children are the worst. There were a bunch on the tour this time and I don’t know if they just hated the whole thing or they were just being kids but they were so fucking obnoxious I really couldn’t. I’d take the smelly judgemental old people… I think…

also I finally finished reading vol.12 on the bus yesterday but that doesn&#8217;t matter because it came with motherfucking shiny stickers yo Yeah, I&#8217;m approximately 12 years old all the time but MOTHERFUCKING SHINY STICKERS. I think every 4th volume comes with them? (because the envelope said no.3 and I can do math so 12/3=4) but idk. I was just happy enough to catch up to the tanks without raw hunting but holy shit am I the slowest pokest reader :| even with furigana. Shit gets real good though I&#8217;ll tell you that.

It did require me to almost break my knees crouching on the shelf. Also, the sheer store space tiger and bunny took up (doujins and merch wise) made me hate it just a little. (remember &#8220;sold out&#8221;? nipponese have it so good)

There is no freakin&#8217; way Magi is not getting an anime, the sheer amount of merchandise I saw for the manga alone at the stores in sapporo is a pretty clear indicator. I don&#8217;t even care because I bought this bag, no regrets. I also bought so much doujinshi holy fuck I have lost complete control of my life. But it was just fucking amazing. totally worth skipping dinner to go shopping by myself, just 2 and a half hours of walking between the animate, gamers, toranoana and the store I forgot the name of but it carried pretty much only Bl doujins. It was horrifying when I met back up with our group at the hotel and one of the mothers wanted to look at what I bought and started going for the toranoana bag but I just threw pic related out and was like HERE ITS A BAG WITH A LEAF HOW FUNNY GOOD THING YOU CAN&#8217;T READ JAPANESE ANYWAY. Also the disadvantage of looking asian, and initiating exchanges with cashiers in japanese, is that they think you are fluent and then respond in kind, and then I just don&#8217;t&#8230; understand half of their words and then the end result is that I come off as mentally challenged but you know what that&#8217;s ok. Of the three times I bought R18 stuff I was only carded once though, but that didn&#8217;t help because I didn&#8217;t know the word for &#8220;ID&#8221;. I always thought they exagerrated

when someone told me they talk about how hot it is in the summer on the morning news in Japan, and go around interviewing old people and children and ask them “how hot is it today” and they invariably say “very” “very hot” “hotter than satan’s rectum” etc, etc. That was probably a one off thing right WRONG no I am watching it right now and it’s like… exactly as advertised.

the only thing is that I’m in the Hokkaido prefecture right now and it’s BALLS COLD, so I can’t even agree with the bored old/young people.
